Steal a Superpower Packs Guide: Pack Sources and What's Inside
How to get ability packs in Steal a Superpower, what packs contain, and its pack sources: Dominus boss loot chests, redeemable codes and the free like-and-join Legend Pack.
Ability packs are the center of Steal a Superpower: opening one grants ability cards, and each card is a unique superpower you can either equip to fight with or place on a holder at your base so it generates cash while you play. The game's pack sources stack — here are the three documented routes:
Quick answer
Get ability packs from Dominus boss loot chests, from redeemable codes, and from the free Legend Pack for liking the game and joining its group.
- Dominus bosses: beat the boss, crack open its loot chest, carry the packs home.
- Codes: redeem codes for free packs and potions that improve your pulls — the codes page keeps the current list.
- Free Legend Pack: like the game and join the game's group, as offered on the official Roblox page.
What comes out of a pack
Opening a pack grants ability cards, and each card carries one unique superpower with its own set of moves. Cards also level up, and leveling a card unlocks its most powerful ability, so a pull keeps paying off as you invest in it — the card leveling guide walks through that.
The official description names lightning, fire, frost, gravity, time, shadow and gold as powers you rip out of packs, with an explicit 'and more' attached. Treat that as a teaser list rather than the full catalog: the all superpowers list and the card rarities guide track the wider collection. One tier gets special billing — the same description asks, 'Can you pull an Ancient card and beat Dominus Empyreus, the final boss?' Ancient is the rarity the game itself dangles at the top of pack opening, right next to its final boss (Ancient cards, Dominus Empyreus).
Every pulled card also forces a small decision, made per card: equip it to use its moves in fights, or put it on a holder at your base so it earns cash for you even while you are out fighting. That dual use is why packs sit at the center of the game — every pack is both new combat power and new base income (see how to get cash).

Beating Dominus bosses
Boss fights are the gameplay route to packs, and each boss you defeat does two jobs at once: it opens the next area and leaves a loot chest behind. Loot chests are exactly what they sound like — chests opened after defeating a boss, and they hold packs. The kill is the prerequisite: the pack sits inside the boss's loot chest, so no kill means no chest and no packs.
From boss fight to fresh cards
Fight through the zone
Push through the area's enemies with your equipped powers until you reach its Dominus boss.
Defeat the Dominus boss
The kill opens the next area for you to push into.
Crack the loot chest
Loot chests are opened after defeating a boss, and they hold packs.
Carry the packs home
The packs from the chest come home with you.
Open the packs
Each pack grants ability cards, ready to equip or to put on base holders for cash.
The cards you pull make you stronger, which is what lets you survive the newly opened area and run the same cycle on its Dominus boss.
In practice this makes bosses the repeatable engine of your pack supply: every new area means another Dominus to bring down and another chest to crack. The bosses guide covers the fights themselves, how to unlock areas covers the gating between zones, and the boss loot page details what chests give out.
Redeeming codes
Codes are the pack source that needs no fighting at all. The DISCORD code adds a Legend Pack: redeeming it shows a 'Redeemed! +1 Legend Pack' result and a '+1 PACK!' toast as the pack lands in your card-pack inventory. You redeem codes in the game's Codes popup — the Steal a Superpower codes page keeps the maintained list of everything currently live.
Codes also sharpen the packs you earn elsewhere. Codes such as 20KLIKES and POTIONS award Luck Potions, which raise the chance of pulling stronger or rarer superpower cards from packs while one is active. They are temporary consumables, and neither the size of the boost nor how long a potion lasts has been confirmed — so treat an active Luck Potion as a window to open packs in, not a permanent upgrade. The potions guide has the details.
The free Legend Pack
The third source is a developer promotion on the game's official Roblox page, and it is exactly what it says: like the game and join its group to receive a free Legend Pack. There is no gameplay hurdle attached; the two requirements are the like and the group join. The free Legend Pack page covers the promotion.
Paid boosters that change pack outcomes
Two game passes sit directly on top of the pack system, each in its own lane:
Comparison
| Game pass | Price | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| 2x Luck [PERMANENT] | R$49 | Rare cards are twice as likely in every pack you open. Forever. |
| 2x Boss Loot | R$199 | Twice the packs from every boss you beat, and your own bosses drop a bigger golden chest. |
Both are Roblox purchases, and the useful distinction is scope: 2x Luck touches the odds of what is inside every pack you open, while 2x Boss Loot only multiplies what bosses yield. One bends pull quality, the other pack quantity — the first pairs naturally with Luck Potions, the second with a boss-running routine. More passes are compared in the game passes guide.
Note the boundary: the Valkyrie and Galaxy Lord cards are sold as game passes too, but they are pass-locked exclusives — buying the pass unlocks the card directly, so they come from the pass store rather than the pack routine. The exclusive cards page has the rundown.
Putting it together
A sensible pack routine stacks all three sources: claim the free Legend Pack and redeem whatever packs the current codes offer first, because they cost nothing, then run bosses for the steady supply, and open your packs while a Luck Potion is active if you have one. Every rarity you collect along the way also feeds the Index, which pays permanent rewards — one more reason the pulls matter beyond the next fight (see Index rewards).
