Steal a Superpower Boss Loot: What Dominus Bosses Drop and How to Claim It
Defeating a Dominus boss in Steal a Superpower rewards you with a loot chest full of card packs. Learn how to crack the chest open, carry the packs home, and what they become.
Quick answer
A defeated Dominus boss leaves a loot chest filled with card packs. Crack the chest open, carry the packs home and open them there — the packs are the reward, not a power that equips itself. On top of the loot, each boss you defeat also opens the next area.
- The Dominus line ends with Dominus Empyreus, the final boss of the game.
Boss fights in Steal a Superpower pay out in card packs. The sections below break the claim process down piece by piece: what the chest contains, how carrying the packs home works, and what those packs turn into once you are back.
What you get from a Dominus boss
The prize for defeating a Dominus boss is its loot chest. Loot chests are the chests that appear after you beat a boss, and they hold packs — the same ability packs the rest of the game is built around. Two parts of that reward are worth keeping straight:
- You win packs, not an equipped power. Beating the boss does not hand you a ready-to-use superpower. You crack the chest, take its packs and carry them home; powers only arrive once you open the packs into cards.
- The same fight pays in progress. Defeating bosses also opens the next area, so one Dominus kill hands you loot and moves you forward through the zones at the same time.

How to claim the loot and carry it home
The full trip from boss kill to playable superpower runs through five stages:
Mechanic flow
- 1
Defeat the Dominus boss
Fight through the zone and take the boss down. Beating it triggers both the loot chest and the unlock of the next area.
- 2
Crack open the loot chest
The chest appears once the boss is beaten and holds the packs. Open it to get at them.
- 3
Carry the packs home
The packs are the reward, and you carry them home with you — no power is equipped on the spot.
- 4
Open the packs
Opening each pack yields ability cards.
- 5
Equip or place your cards
Each card grants a unique superpower. Equip it for fights, or put it in your base to generate cash.
The carry is part of the reward itself: the packs are yours to bring home, and opening them at home is what converts the kill into cards you can actually use.
What the packs turn into
Boss loot matters because packs are the game's main feature. Opening each pack gives you ability cards, and every card grants a unique superpower. From there, a card works in two ways:
- Equip it and its superpower joins your fighting kit.
- Place it in your base, where it earns cash for you — cards on holders keep generating cash even while you are out fighting.
So a single chest feeds both sides of the game at once: more power for the next boss, and income that keeps ticking while you chase it. Also worth knowing: boss chests are one of only two stated ways to get card packs — the other is redeeming codes, and the Steal a Superpower codes page keeps the current list. For the packs-and-cards system in depth, see the packs guide.
The Dominus line and the final chest
Dominus bosses are the gatekeepers of the map: you defeat one to open the next area, and its loot chest pays out the packs you carry home. The same loop repeats one zone further along each time, and the line of Dominus bosses ends with Dominus Empyreus, the final boss of the game — so every chest you haul home is also a step toward that last fight. The bosses guide, the zones guide and the page on how to unlock areas cover the progression side, while the Dominus Empyreus page focuses on the final boss itself.
Doubling every chest with 2x Boss Loot
If you want each defeated boss to pay out more, the game sells one pass aimed squarely at boss loot: 2x Boss Loot. It costs R$199 and does two things — you get twice the packs from every boss you beat, and your own bosses drop a bigger golden chest. The pass is listed as released on October 24, 2026. It is an optional purchase: boss loot works exactly the same way without it, just at the normal amount. The rest of the pass lineup is on the game passes page.
That is the loop in full — beat the Dominus, crack the chest, carry the packs home, open them into cards, then put those cards to work equipped or in your base while the newly opened area waits ahead.
