Steal a Superpower Card Rarities: The Three Tiers Compared and Index Rewards
Steal a Superpower cards come in three rarities — God, Secret and Ancient — with Ancient the rarest. See how the game ranks them, what the pull badges prove, and the permanent Index rewards for every rarity you collect.
Quick answer
Steal a Superpower has three confirmed card rarities — God, Secret and Ancient — and Ancient is the rarest of the three. The game itself sets that order in its pull badges, and completing the Index earns permanent rewards for every rarity you collect.
- God is the most common of the three: the Godly Pull! badge has been earned by 41K players (39%).
- Secret sits above God: the Secret Pull! badge stands at 25K players (22%).
- Ancient is the rarest pull in the game: only 7.2K players (2.8%) hold the Ancient Pull! badge.
Every card in Steal a Superpower comes out of an ability pack, and each card you pull carries two separate labels: a power, which decides what it does, and a rarity, which decides how hard it is to land. The three rarity names below are not community guesses — they are the exact labels the game's official Roblox badges use, which makes those badges the most reliable reference for what exists and how the tiers stack up.
The three card rarities
Ripping open ability packs gets you power cards — lightning, fire, frost, gravity, time, shadow, gold and more (the full roster lives on our Steal a Superpower all superpowers page). Every card comes with its own set of moves, and leveling a card up unlocks its most powerful ability. None of that changes the rarity race: whether a card is a lightning card or a gold card, what you are waiting on from the pack is its rarity tier.

The game attaches a pull badge to each rarity tier:
| Rarity | Pull badge | Badge requirement | Earned by |
|---|---|---|---|
| God | Godly Pull! | Pull a God card or rarer | 41K players (39%) |
| Secret | Secret Pull! | Pull a Secret card or rarer | 25K players (22%) |
| Ancient | Ancient Pull! | Pull an Ancient card | 7.2K players (2.8%) |
The earned-by figures come from a third-party badge tracker snapshot. They measure how many players have reached each milestone — not the per-pack drop odds, which the badges do not state.
How the rarities compare: God, then Secret, then Ancient
The badge wording does the ranking for you. Godly Pull! covers “a God card or rarer,” and Secret Pull! covers “a Secret card or rarer” — each badge counts its own tier and everything above it. Ancient Pull! is the exception: it asks for specifically “an Ancient card,” with no “or rarer” clause, because the game names nothing above Ancient. Read together, that locks in the order — God is the most common of the three, Secret is rarer, and Ancient sits at the ceiling.
The badge percentages tell the same story. About 39% of players have a God-tier pull, 22% have reached Secret, and just 2.8% have ever landed an Ancient — a narrowing funnel that ends with Ancient as the pull the overwhelming majority of players has never seen. Those are player counts rather than pack odds, but they line up exactly with what the wording implies.
Ancient also gets the game's own spotlight. The official description asks, “Can you pull an Ancient card and beat Dominus Empyreus, the final boss?” — tying the rarest pull to the game's ultimate challenge — and the badge itself calls an Ancient card “a truly legendary find.”
What the Index gives you for each rarity
The Index is the game's collection book, and its promise is straightforward: “COMPLETE THE INDEX to earn permanent rewards for every rarity you collect.” Two things in that line matter for planning. First, the reward is tied to every rarity you collect, so each tier you pull into your collection counts. Second, the rewards are permanent — not temporary boosts that expire.
The exact value attached to each individual rarity is not spelled out in the game's public description. Our Steal a Superpower index guide and index rewards pages cover the system in more depth. What the badge stats do make clear is where the work sits: God pulls are common enough that nearly four in ten players have one, while Ancient pulls are so rare that they are usually the last tier standing between a collection and Index completion.
Getting more packs — and rarer pulls
Packs come from gameplay. Defeating bosses opens the next area, and each boss you beat drops a loot chest filled with ability packs that you carry home and rip open — see our boss loot page and packs guide for the details.
If you want to push the rare tiers faster, the game sells one directly relevant pass: 2x Luck [PERMANENT] (R$49) makes rare cards twice as likely in every pack you open, permanently. It is an optional purchase — boss chests keep the packs flowing either way. Our best game passes page compares it against the other passes.
Putting it together
- Rip open ability packs to build your collection — boss loot chests are the in-game source of more packs.
- Treat Godly Pull!, Secret Pull! and Ancient Pull! as milestone markers of how far up the rarity ladder you have climbed.
- Collect across all three rarities and complete the Index to bank its permanent rewards.
